Swancor was originally founded with the name Sun -Well Enterprise in Hsinchu Taiwan in 1992 by Mr . Robert Tsai , who is now the chairman of Swancor group . In 1993 , the company was re-named as Swancor Ind . and. started resin production with focus on epoxy vinyl ester resins and SMC/BMC low profile additives , which became Swancor·s core technologies .

The goal of developing a global market was a target since the establishment of the company . As the demand for our products increased , the factory was moved to the current location in Nantou City in Taiwan . This expanded capacity allowed us to extend our market from Asia to all the developed continents in the world and SWANCOR became well-known as an industry technological leader .

In order to supply China market , Swancor established Swancor ( Shanghai ) Fine Chemical in Shanghai Songjiang Industrial Zone in 2000 and the factory started operation in May 2002 . This became a milestone in Swancor growth . Not only did this expand the company's production capacity , but this well-equipped factory is positioned to enhance Swancor's competence in the local and global market by providing Professional service to meet extensive customer requirements , while accelerating Swancor·s international growth .

Due to the growing global demand for energy and the need for protection of the environment while maintaining economic growth , the demand for wind energy has become a global focus . Swancor has committed itself to the industry and established Swancor ( Tianjin ) Wind Blade Materials in Tianjin Economy Technology Development Area ( TEDA ) in December 2006 and started mass production in November 2008 , therefore Swancor started the important role as one of the material suppliers for global wind rotor blade manufacturing . In addition , Swancor will continue to develop more premium product to meet the future requirements of the wind energy market.

In order to support North American customers more efficiently , Swancor America was established up in Wisconsin USA in December 2006 . It will help to accelerate internationalization of Swancor group , and Swancor will become an important supplier in the the largest market in the world .
